Sales Development is the Base of our sales organization where new business opportunities come to life.
BDRs have exploratory conversations with potential customers to find out if they are a fit for our company and if our software solution solves customer requirements. They need to know their product and services inside and out so they can communicate their purpose and value to prospects.
If the potential customer is a good fit for them, the BDR sets up a call or meeting between a sales expert and the prospect.
Generally, it is important to work out new campaigns or prepare events in coordination with marketing to keep generating new business or business with existing customers.
